A thistle flower up close and personal. I decided to frame this picture in this way to take something that has been done before and make it a bit more interesting... hopefully.

- Weeee I am once again confined to describing myself in a box. This always has a very Orwellian feel to it, like maybe one day you could find this description on the side of a box in some store in the not so far off future with crazy advertisements screaming "buy me!" or "own your own non conformist today! only $5.99!" Ummm Im done. Obviously short attention span. And an equally short memory. You are warned.

I must say, the offset framing does make the picture more interesting. As does the VERY shallow depth of field.
